The Welcome Team is a group of people who enjoy serving Westside's guest, attenders and members
by assisting them in the parking lot, greeting them as they enter the building, ushering them to their
seats, helping with the offering during the services, and providing information. Every Sunday, our
volunteers serve in one of three areas: Parking Team, Worship Service Team (Ushering, Offering,
and Greeting) or Information Center Hosts.
The purpose of the Welcome Team Ministry is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus
Christ by welcoming, informing and serving those who attend our services.
Jesus said, "You call me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for that is what I am. now that I, your Lord
and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet .I have set you an
example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his
master, nor is the messenger greater than the one who sent him. now that you know these things,
you will be blessed if you do them. John 13:13 - 17 NIV
